We've already got enough music, right? I mean, I haven't finished listening to all the old stuff yet, and people keep making new stuff, and the vast majority of it just isn't necessary. Similarly, this music isn't necessary - it's not solving any problems, or adding anything original to the world. But I made it, and I think I enjoy listening to it, so here it is: a short, low-stakes collection of acid bangers.

But why acid? Why now, in 2022?

Well, I've always wanted a 303. There's something visceral and primal about its glugs, roars and yelps. It taps into something deep and universal that I can't adequately articulate. The only trouble is, of course, that original units are so expensive.

Imagine how excited I was, then, to recently stumble across Behringer's TD-3 clone, which is currently selling for as little as £80. Incredibly, despite the cheap-looking build, they sound amazing. I was just about to shell out for one when I remembered that on an old long-abandoned Windows XP laptop at the back of a dusty shelf in my office was an install of d-lusion's Rubber Duck software, which doesn't come as close to the authentic 303 sound as I'd have liked, but can still make some filthy noise. I fired it up, and this is the result.
